Networking Basics
This pre-study backgrounder is designed to provide a basic understanding of network concepts and terminology. It covers the first two layers of the OSI reference model, explains the different network components and gives a general overview of Internetworking and the TCP/IP protocol.
Networking Advanced
The intermediate level focuses mainly on solutions for the networked home and small office, covering topics such as Wireless LAN, VoIP, NAS, IP Camera, unmanaged switches, and the broadband routers. More advanced topics include antenna and VDSL technologies.
Networking Professional
This module provides in-depth explanation of advanced Layer 2/3 switching features and products including policy-based networking and IP routing. Furthermore it includes: Link Aggregation, Port Mirroring, VLAN, QoS/ CoS, Spanning Tree, LAN Security, and IP Multicasting.
